Welcome to the consultation website for proposals at Land North of Southend. This website has been created to support engagement on an emerging mixed-use development to the north of Southend, which has the potential to deliver much-needed new homes alongside supporting infrastructure, open space and community uses.

Thank you for visiting our website. We have recently completed our first round of public consultation, where we shared information on our emerging vision for Garon East and Bakers Gate. We are grateful to the hundreds of you who have engaged so far either online, at our pop-up events, or shared your feedback at an early stage which is now being reviewed. Our first consultation period, which ran for four weeks from 16 February to 16 March has now closed. We are now taking the time to analyse the public feedback received over this period and understand how we ensure this feedback is meaningfully taken on board within our vision for the site, as we start to work up a masterplan. While we will be returning to share more detailed plans in the Summer, we will be continuing to engage with local groups in the coming months to gather more feedback to see where this can meaningfully shape our emerging plans.
